Optimum Suspension, unlike most big suspension shops, does not have established recommended settings. Instead, we prefer to sit down with you, one-on-one, to discuss what kind of riding you do and what you are looking for in suspension action; what your suspension does well and where you think it can be improved. 

Your feedback is essential, since we are tuning your suspension to better suit your riding.

Remember, "Works" suspension is really nothing more than a high-level of fine-tuning to obtain the perfect ride for one individual, so that the rider and his machine work in total harmony.

Then we'll inspect and document your current settings before designing a setup that will work better for you, based on the information you've given us.

Should our design analysis show that additional parts would be helpful, such as high-flow pistons, different springs rates, etc., we will obtain your approval before proceeding.
